On this day back in 1972, The Country Bears arrived at @Disneyland, debuting their show in the new Bear Country at the park. The show was such a success when it debuted @WaltDisneyWorld, they brought it to California, where it was performed until 2001. After numerous seasonal shows, including the Vacation Hoedown (as seen in a souvenir video above), the show was removed to make way for The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, which currently resides in the former bear’s home in #Disneyland’s #Cri

In 1972, the Main Street Electrical Parade premiered in Disneyland The parade has had 6 runs so far in the ‘Most Magical Place on Earth’, and chances are, it will pop up again Here are clips from its original run in 1972, not in the park, but a special viewing in the streets of Anaheim. Notice how different the float scenes are compared to the most recent version * * #disney #disneyland #disneylandresort #disneylife #disneyparks #disneylove #disneyfan #disneyphotography #disneyinsta #disneyaddic
