One of the things that fascinates me (and can be tragic) about hypermobility is how many symptoms people quietly accept as “normal.” After years of living with them, they stop mentioning them because they assume everyone experiences the same thing. One of those odd symptoms that always catches my attention is when someone tells me, “My head hurts when I cry.” Not emotionally…but physically. On its own, this doesn’t diagnose anything, and plenty of people can have headaches for other reasons. But
